Usher in the Festive Spirit This Diwali at Rang Mahal Restaurants

Singapore, Monday 11 September 2017 - During this auspicious time of the year in celebrating The Festival of Lights, Rang Mahal offers a bevy of delectable treats in making this festive extra special.

Majestic Mithai Collection
Rang Mahal presents a selection of festive mithais hand crafted daily by our team of award-winning chefs. The Majestic collection offers two types of boxes: a Corporate Box of 21 pieces comprising 4 flavours and a Premium Box with 32 mithais offering 4 mithai flavours and for the first time, 8 pieces of specially designed chocolates in 2 flavours. The premium box also comes with a selection of 4 savouries.

This year’s mithai flavours include Rang Mahal’s signature, Mango made with alphonso sweetness and topped with silver candy and another favourite, Pistachio mithai made with grounded pistachios moulded delicately and dusted with gold. This new flavour for the year is the Saffron-Lentil made with slow-roasted gram flour and lightly flavoured with saffron. The Fruit & Nut option offers a heathier alternative with no added sugar and made of a crunchy medley of luscious figs, premium dates and mixed nuts.

The Premium Box in addition to the 4 mithai flavours will also include two unique chocolate flavours specially crafted by our corporate chef. For coconut enthusiasts, we have the Coconut White Chocolate Truffle made with lemongrass infusion and for dark chocolate lovers, we have the Dark Chocolate Truffle with distinctive toasted fennel flavour. To complement the sweet selection, the premium Box also comes with a selection of 4 savouries; roasted almonds, spiced cashews, both rich in nutrients. For a lighter alternative, there is the pickle-flavoured wheat crisps and lastly, home-made style, artisanal chocolate brittle.

The Corporate Box is priced at $58+ and the Premium Box is priced at $128+.

Mrs Ritu further adds, “In the spirit of the season and in line with Hind Group’s mission in supporting and creating awareness for social causes, Rang Mahal will be contributing 5% of all mithai sales proceeds to an appointed charity. This is part of a series of social causes our restaurants are supporting to facilitate greater awareness for good causes.”

In line with the festivities, Rang Mahal will have a special lunch buffet spread for Diwali on the 18th of October featuring regional festive favourites and live stations featuring classic street food favourites.
